seems like most of the "old timers" are close to my age
graduated from St Martin's class of '86 , and can remember going to The Boot, the Metro, Parkway Tavern, Hogs Breath, F&M's, and other uptown bars in the 9th grade when I started driving. That was just the normal way of life growing up in NOLA .
most of the time never knew how I made it home from St Charles Ave ---> Carrolton--> Earheart Expwy --> Metairie
