We live in Broussard also. I am very much looking forward to a new higher end place to eat. Have never been impressed with LT's paying high dollar for a seafood platter you would swear could be an appetizer plate. Or the boiling point which is styrofoam plate heavy. I hope this place does well. I didn't know it was open yet, but will try it out this week. Thanks for the heads up!!

Sonic, the guy we know who carries on the popcorn rice legacy (Mr. TR) opened up a call-in drive-thru only place on Hwy 92 next door to a biker bar. Just saying.

First heard of this Hook and Boil was last week.. The word is good.

Bumping this thread because I'm gonna check it out for lunch today. I've heard good things. I went to high school with the owner and he's good people so I hope he does well with it.

ate there last Friday. had the boudin egg rolls and catfish Broussard. I thought both were good. Not as good as Catfish 415 at (the old) Bergerons, but worth the money. of course my meal was free so...
