Didn't make it down for the release, has anyone had their shakes?

Worth a trip?

Tried it Friday at the source. I enjoyed both the Frieze and the Pineapple.

Frieze is going to be distributed. So I would imagine you could find it at the same places you find Modillion and any of their other limited releases at. Pineapple and Strawberry will be brewery only.

I liked both but give the nod to the pineapple.

DDH Holy Roller is awesome. Bought biome Cabana Boy but haven't tried yet. Hoarding the Holy Roller.

Their FB says strawberry canning has started and should be available today after 4 or 5.

Modillion

They need to get some of this back out.

That is an excellent beer.

The Holy Roller is much better today than it was in March of 2016 when they opened. They've made small tweaks over time. It's a really solid go to IPA now.

The DDH is so good.

Elios just posted on social media they have both Frieze and Pineapple

Can someone please explain to me what exactly a "milkshake IPA" is supposed to be?

Is it all about mouthfeel? I had one from Whole Foods a while back. Didn't think the flavor itself set it apart from just doing a juice forward, low IBU IPA.

Frieze is on the shelves at Dorignac's as of 30 min ago. I did not buy any though. Can't get my head around it, but will try a taste at the brewery later I guess.

They use lactose in the boil which makes it sweeter. A la milk stout.

Hop forward ipas aren't necessarily low ibu. They're just not malty and the bittering is less perceived. Generally
