I would try pea or hemp protein over the soy or a hemp/rice/pea blend. They are a more complete protein and have greater bioavailability. True Nutrition has the best priced vegetable protein powders I have found and it is very good quality.

You might try throwing some hemp hearts and chia seeds into the mix as well.

I was using Perfect Food's Beyond Fiber product. It has chia seeds and flax seeds in it along with some protein. However, it really thickened my shake to the point of making it undrinkable. You could stand a spoon in it.

I'll have to look at that True Nutrition product.

Yes. It's an easy way to get nutrients in short time.

Edit: just saw that link someone posted. Some of those weightlifting green supplements sound like bullshite. I stick to stuff like Green Magma (not a bodybuilding supplement despite the douchy name). I also agree with the link that powder is a must when travelling.

Nah. Gave em up a year ago last Sunday. Have put on 15 lbs in the past year, likely in part due to quitting. Still don't look disproportionate as frick in jeans and a white undershirt though.

I don't know about that Reg. Most of them look pretty good if you read the ingredients. They are just marketed to weightlifters because that is their customer base.
