Use to juice lots of vegetables but got out of it mainly due to time and cost. I picked up a tub yesterday of Amazing Grass powdered green superfood that was on sale at Whole Foods. Anyone use any of these products and did you notice a difference in how you feel?

I've been using Perfect Food by Garden of Life. Its pricey, but I like it.

I had surgery a while back that preventing me from eating normally. My brother gave me one of those Bullet blenders before the surgery and I've been using it ever since. To work more greens into my diet, I started using Perfect Food mixed with either soy or rice protein and soy milk for breakfast. The taste isn't terrific, but I wasn't going to get vegetables any other way. I've stuck to it.

I've seen other blends and I've been curious. How's the one you are using?

You couldn't stick with one trend so now you're looking to move on to another. Smart move.

Yes....but my wife says they have questionable ingredients in them so we use them anymore. She is about to make me stop breathing.

Today was my first time trying it. Didnt taste THAT bad but I wouldn't describe it as good.

Nah. Gave em up a year ago last Sunday. Have put on 15 lbs in the past year, likely in part due to quitting. Still don't look disproportionate as frick in jeans and a white undershirt though.

A man should never eat soy protein or drink soy milk because it mimics estrogen in the body.

To the original question, yes I use Green Vibrance

Rohan great job on going a year without a cigarette. I quit a few years back as well. I know you feel much better. I have stayed around ten percent bodyfat for the last few years though so I personally don't think I look disproportionate as frick but maybe I do.

This has been thoroughly disproven

Thanks. I surely do.

I know zero about measuring or maintaining body fat. As long as you can get a decent woman to sleep with you and you're not at risk of dying from a heart attack by 40 I don't see the point in spending so much time or energy on chasing down food trends and monitoring caloric intake.

Just google soy estrogen myth

ETA: I'd love to see the study that says it does

It doesn't really take that much time or energy and it makes me feel good and I enjoy it. That is the point of it.

I've only heard that soy bullshite on this website. Any Google search quickly disproves that.

I essentially make a veggie protein shake to start my day. Whey and Casein proteins upset my stomach too much. The veggie protein (either soy or rice) don't upset me at all. I've stuck with soy milk because it's lactose free, low carbs, and has a decent amount of protein. I've wanted to try some pea protein, but I haven't found any as inexpensive as the soy.

Perfect Food has probiotics in it as well. I add some fiber to my shake to complete the colon blow.
