I tried the garlic version with some shrimps. It was good. Haven't tried lemon. Always afraid its going to be too much lemon.

Just use lemon oil, it would be much cheaper

Does it still have the "punch" that I'm used to the liquids having (spice, etc) or is that tampered down because of the lemon?

I've used it a few times this year, and the above poster is right. The lemon oil is cheaper and better. If ya don't have any, this stuff is still good.

It's decent but not necessary. I like fresh lemons.

No. You won't find in the grocery. Will have to be a specialty store. FWIW I'm not a big fan of it

It has very little spice. I use a cup each of the lemon and garlic & onion and a 1/4 cup of Louisiana concentrated liquid

buy the gallon size of the zatarains. I swear it has a different flavor and consistency than the small bottles

Use the whole small bottle of the lemon and the garlic and onion in my boils.
