Thinking about Brunnings lately and craving stuffed flounder.

Have a reservation at Toups for tomorrow but looking for some founder and oysters.

I went a couple of weekends back with a large group. Some things (mainly the apps) were excellent, some things were bad (the bbq shrimp, the flounder the red snapper)
(fish were all very frozen tasting, mushy)
The shrimp were excellent, the buffalo shrimp was good, the calamari fried in shrimp fry was one of the best i have ever had, the muffins were good and we enjoyed the grilled oysters and the raw oysters.

Might go there just for this.

Emmett's in Harahan has a nice stuffed flounder you can take home and cook.

I've gone a few times. It's pretty good. I recommend the whole flounder topped with crabmeat.

thanks.
I actually made stuffed flounder Wednesday. It came out great too. Had some good crab-meat from Westwego and some Flounders I got out there too.
Broiled them in the oven until the skin at the top curled and it was delicious. My sauce though would not of been board approved (canned cream soup, crabmeat, sambo-olek, garlic power, salt, milk) but it's an excellent quick rice and fish sauce.
