Bacchus on the beach in pass was great the other night. Sat outside. Live music.

Ajaxs in Gulfport is also on the beach and new.

Blind tiger in BSL is fun too.

Corks and cleaver is a new fine dining restaurant in downtown Gulfport. Excellent.

Never been. Just know it's new, on beach, in Gulfport.

Will likely take the kids this weekend to check it out

To me it's identical to TBT, and probably AJAX...and we don't eat at any of them. They seem really popular with tourist though.

Shaggys and blind tiger may look similar but the food and service couldn't be farther apart.

My experience at shaggys has been crap.

Blind tiger is good good, fun atmosphere, great view, cold beer. Overall, it has always been great.

Definitely nothing more than ok

Great view and slightly better than average beer selection on the coast, but the food has been pretty meh the last couple of visits.

Generally do Bacchus in the pass when we come back. They have a solid brunch as well.

Gonna try old Cuevas tomorrow night for the first time since the re-open. Blind tiger is okay for what it is. However, that burger is a god damned shame to be served like it has been the last two times I've been. Thomas should be ashamed at that crap. I thought it was a bad night the first time and 2 wks later it was equally one of the worst bar burgers I've ever had. Tasted like he bought that sum bitch straight off the Sysco truck.

Did pound a couple 2-hearted ales while there though. They have those "big arse" fans in there so it's always nice even if the windows are open.

Both 200 and Traps serve a better burger, temp to order. Hard to beat the bartenders at 200, and their peel and eat shrimp is a killer app.

We went drink and app hunting last night on the golf cart and we ventured to Louie and the Redheaded Lady. Twilight zone. They don't have a liquor license yet but they serve beer, said BYOB was fine. The bowl of gumbo was good. We met Louie and the 2nd Redheaded lady, his mom was the first.

Last weekend of the Charlie Brown play at the Little Theatre if anyone is interested. They do a Sunday matinee at 2.

Always do drinks at 200 and some apps. Although the MIL is pissed that no one seems to be able to make a worth a shite French 75

Never did a burger there... I like he one at traps though. Hammered back some apps (the tips and my wife's favorite fried green maters) upstairs listening to the 2 piece band the other night. Was interesting had a couple girls hammered drunk crying...

You see his swamp cooler up there?

Drunk girls are usually more fun than that.

I agree with the Bacchus recommendation.

Have you been to Harbor View Cafe in Long Beach? I've been a few times for breakfast and lunch and enjoyed the food. Service has been hit or miss, but it's worth a visit.

Yeh harbor view is generally pretty solid. I've had some good meals at hooks too. I wish some of these places would do a half assed attempt at having some decent beers on tap.

I actually enjoy just hitting up the ugly pirate and have some beers... If I stay long enough get a pizza. Get some music on the juke box and hang out.

Gaston.... Not sure what you are talking about with the swamp Cooler... I'm assuming some sort of coonass AC setup
