Haven't been down there in a while but I got a meeting one night next week that I'll probably take some clients to dinner for. They will be staying in French quarter so I'd rather stay in that area. Trying to find a newer place with a great menu of options. Took them to Kingfish last time and they loved it.

Just had Borne in the Hyatt by the dome. Was really good and probably has the best BBQ shrimp poboy I have ever had.

Compere Lapin is a good option, outside the quarter, but very accessible.

Really really good ... The best Italian in the city at the moment, IMHO

That's a bold statement. Just out of curiosity, what was your favorite Italian place before?

I've been about five times and really enjoyed the meatballs, fried cheese, gnocchi is killer , veal is good and also liked the soft shell crabs ...

I like Irene's too, although I wouldn't consider it my favorite.

Next time I'm in town, I'll definitely go and check it out.

These two chefs from Memphis (Andy and Michael) are on fire right now. Everything they touch turns to gold.

Didn't realize these guys had opened a place in New Orleans. Big fan of both their Memphis spots. Will definitely give it a try the next time I am in town.
