citric acid, a powder, sometimes called "sour salt".

Love sour salt...it is a great secret ingredient to add zing to dry coatings.

Get your hands on a mother of vinegar culture & try making your own from wine dregs, fruit juice, etc. A fun project, if you're patient.

Surely there must be something wrong with it.
Sometimes it's associated with piss, as in, piss and vinegar. But the meaning of piss and vinegar is positive. As in, LSU defense is full of piss and vinegar. So no. There is no downside.

Every year right before the first hard frost, I pick all the green vegetables from the garden and pickle them in apple cider vinegar. Green tomatoes, okra, hot peppers, and whatever else looks good in the fridge (carrots, celery, cauliflower).

Syllable emphasis much too important in public settings to justify routine usage.

This is a recipe for my favorite salad dressing, using champagne vinegar.. I make a simple salad with asparagus, tomato and boiled egg.

1/4 c champagne vinegar
1 tbsp. honey
2 teaspoon minced shallots
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
salt and pepper

Blend the ingredients well, until smooth and emulsified and looks kinda like a Hollondaise.. freakin delicious.

nope.

makes hard boiled eggs taste better, ingested regularly can help dissolve kidney stones, got rid of a nasty planar wart i had when nothing else worked..like freaking magic..! ..and it gets the mildew smell out of laundry.

three cheers for vinegar!
