But when it comes to the Cajun Food, tough to find another spot in this country that does it like we do.

afterall, it is Cajun and Creole and that is LA. There is no other in the country.

Just got done watching the repeat since I was out earlier.

^Sums up the episode. Best I've seen yet, and I think Tony agrees. That crawfish bisque looked amazing as did everyone else. Great showing of LA culture...suck on that yankees

Just watched...
I almost licked the TV when they showed the hog's head cheese pie. What was that stew that he ate at the end? Does it have a name?
I've also lived in NOLA for my entire life and never heard of the soul food noodle stuff he ate with Wendell Pierce. Didnt really look that amazing.
It was an awesome episode and made LA look like a food Mecca. I've never seen him reference 2 dishes in one episode that he clearly had a mouth-gasm. Really enjoyed watching...

The stew was backbone stew. The noodles he ate are served at jazz fest. Good stuff. Other than at jazz feat I have never seen it anywhere.

I would seriously pay admission to that. I've never been to anything like that (except the restaurant...lulz). I guess I'm a city boy down to my roots.

Easy enough, go to Hogs for the Cause 2012.

Shameles plug, I know.
