The idea for the aptly named Crawfish App came to Ryan and Laney King four years ago, after they grew tired of spending hours calling crawfish spots in the city trying to find the best deal for their weekend boils.

I'm related to one of the owners. My cuz is a marketing whiz. I'm kind of shocked it took this long for someone to develop something like this. This is South Louisiana after all!!!

Friend and I thought of developing one and were doing it, but then realized the amount of time needed to do this.
You'd have to call and get the prices day to day to be sure it was up to date. We didn't have the time to devote towards a free app.
Not to mention it's too specialized and localized to even hope it gets bought by a bigger company

Used that app yesterday. I'd never heard of Jefferson seafood shack but saw on there and gave it a go. I thought it was really good crawfish.
