Alternative to Hubig Pie

With the prospect of Hubig returning to New Orleans being near zero, what is a good alternative? I was craving an Apple Hubig the other day and couldn't find anything close.

Sadly there is none that I have found that can even hold a candle to a Hubig.
ETA: There are some brands you can find in the stores and in gas stations. But they will only make you sad.

What is the deal again? Owners fighting each other? How have they not figured out a way to reopen or at least license the name and recipes?

Yes they are, and Hubig Pies are overrated IMO. They leave a bad aftertaste.

Cochon Butcher has some at the register, may be only Apple but they were there a few months ago
