Some of the more interesting offerings:

A whole flamingo for ~$5000.

Beaver burgers. (Actually reasonable. If I remember correctly $30 for 4 burgers totaling a pound.)

Hippo. No price yet. Probably will be available in the future.

Camel meat. Prices not bad.

Lionfish. An invasive species $50 for 2-3 pounds.

Exotic hot dogs? Reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Lisa becomes a vegitarian.

That's fricking insane. $199 for a decent sized racoon dressed?

Big push on the Gulf Coast to kill all the Lion Fish and serve them in restaurants. They are killing other native fish from the reefs.

glad to see there's a market the only problem is they have to be harvested by hand

$100 for 1 squirrel is even worse.

There are free fresh road-killed squirrels on my street almost every day.

$40 for lb of invasive deer meat?

No wonder it's invasive.

I guess some of the other parts are cheaper.

There was a wholesaler located in Lutcher (I think)that handled exotic meats. They keep a very low profile. This was several years ago(15/20) don't know if they are still around
