Have a buddy that's down in the Parish and offered to bring a couple bottles of their stout back for me. Anyone have it before? How is it?

The milk stout? I've had it. It was really good. They're sort of hard to come across, but their beer is good. I've had a few of their others too, all good. I like them.

I see the New Basin Stout everywhere as far as retail.
Nothing they have done has really impressed me at all, including their specialty Duckweed at HOP Fest yesterday.
Wouldn't mind trying the Orange Blossum Opossum.

I liked duckweed and would drink again. a solid IPA. however, I've only seen it that one time in the local store

You're right. Actually the stout is the only one I ever see in stores or on tap.

Not bad, picked up a stout at Costco in N.O. once
