What an ahole! They could have picked pretty much any other time. They just told all their friends and family "screw you - we want you to miss the football game because we are that petty and bitter".

with modern day technology and with a photographer there on site....why not send me a copy of the videotape from the wedding...
I can still send a gift, I can still get the recap of this culminating event that you would probably not even remember me being at in the first place.

My brother got married last weekend during LSU-OM. He was freaking out about my uncles and me watching the game on our phones rather than enjoying the wedding/day that was centered around him and his bride. I told him at the bar the night before that if he or his bride are worried about what other people are doing at their wedding then they have problems; I didn't notice anybody in the room other than my wife at our wedding.
