NOPE. I never did abide by the whole you have to go RB/RB or RB/WR first. One year I went Graham/Gronk w/ back-to-back picks (finished 3rd), 2008 I took Brees 6th (lost in championship), and this year I was 2 picks from going WR/WR/WR (won championship).
Funny part about taking Brees 6th ,I was laughed at by the entire league for going QB so early, but ever since then there are always 3-4 QBs in the 1st round and I typically don't grab one until the 4th; unless I think I have a steal in the 3rd (Damn Luck).

I went Gronk/WR in my leagues. Winner. Like being at the end of snake drafts.
