So I floated around the idea of giving away Gurley for a WR1 and the offers I got were DT88 or Alshon... Not very enticing. But I've got 4 and I have absolutely no receivers. (Trying to get VJax and Lockett thru waivers tonight)

Is it really worth giving away Gurley for those guys or am I good? Standard 12 team, 9-2 with playoffs clinched, and a whole lot of 5-6,6-5 and two 7-4, one 8-3 vs me this week (Alshon guy). Also one of the 7-4's is probably going to finish in the last playoff spot and I'd really like to face off against him since he lost Marshawn and only has Starks + Latavius as his RBs.

Romo/Jameis/Osweiler
Gurley/McCoy/DeAngelo/Rawls/Tevin
Jordan/Tavon/Givens hopefully VJax
Eifert/Miller
Tucker
Tampa Bay

I'd ideally like Hopkins or Brown but those teams are making playoffs because of those WRs and their QB

I had something similar w my team. Ended up trading lamar miller+ajgreen for julio. I would not trade gurley unless it was for brown. You might could pair up another rb + wr for an wr1

Yeah, I think I'll offer the 1 for 1 trade to the Hopkins and brown owners. We'll see... I've survived losing LeVeon, Steve Smith, the horrible games of Jordan Matthews, Sam Bradford's concussion game, Tavon and Jordan's combined 1.5 games... Nail biters throughout

Yes you're heavy at RB and weak at wr, but you'd be giving Gurley away at that price. Try another RB for one of those guys and if that doesn't work then just hold tight.

Gurleys value is worth a top 3 wr or Gronk. Anything less I wouldn't do.

Damn, I didn't think THAT highly of him, but this may make the most sense.

I might just keep rolling with Tavon and Matthews (sigh) if I don't get Brown, Hopkins. I also got VJax, so add another Tavon-esque boom/buster.

I think I might be okay rolling out with Tavon and VJax ROS.

Any way you could even get a player like Julio Jones or OBJ?

I'm only asking because while Gurley has been an absolute stud and therefore should have a lot of value in a trade, with your roster you really need help at WR and would be ok without Gurley at RB. And now might be the best time to trade him if you're going to...look at STL's remaining schedule. A lot of tough run defenses ahead and with the state of the STL passing game I wouldn't be surprised if they stack the box and dare them to throw the ball.

However, Alshon or DT88 is too low. DT88 has 2 touchdowns all season and as someone who has Alshon in a league, good luck dealing with him being questionable every damn week.

I'm intrigued by OBJ since the Giants are probably going to be fighting all the way down to the wire (in real life) since their lead in the division isn't very sizable (+1 on Eagles and Redskins, +2 on Cowboys). The Norman matchup against CAR doesn't scare me off too bad either since again, the Giants really need to win out so they'll just keep passing to win.

I've offered 1 for 1's to the Hopkins and Brown owner. If they get rejected, I may go for OBJ. Another idea I've floated is Cam and Jarvis for Gurley, but I think I'd really be fine just going with Romo/Winston/Osweiler at QB...
