Last week to add him for free. If you have a spot then go for it.

I've been stashing him while waiting for Brady to come back. I think he will be solid and good depth going forward, but he will need either amendola or edelman to get injured to really blow up and be more than just a bye week fill in if he has a good match up.

Would you rather have Steve Smith or Hogan?

Not worth a roster spot.

Behind

Gronk
Edelman
Bennett
Pass catching rb

On the food chain. He's about even with the Malcolm Mitchell and amendola kinda guys.

smith is a must start. Double digit targets the last two weeks and showing not too many ill effects from his injury.

Hogan 5-6 catch ceiling kinda guy will only be a good start when he finds the end zone.

Hogan was on the field for the majority of their offensive snaps. If you have a spot I think it's worth adding a guy who is on the field for the Patriots that much.

If his number of targets suck after a week or two...well then you know.

He won't blow up but will have a seat at the table.

They'll be back to throwing 40x a game rather than 25 like they are doing now. Hogan is a good WR & his contract tells me he'll get snaps.

Kind of my thinking on why I like him. Depending on the depth of your league I think he may be borderline not worth a roster spot without an injury, but both of those guys have a history of injury issues and Gronk has been having his struggles so far this year too. Makes him a little more appealing.

Does he? He didn't play his rookie year, but he did play all 16 games the previous 3 years. I haven't been following his career at all though, so I don't know the details.

He's a different player then amendola & Edelman. He's a big WR & the best athlete of the bunch. Can play outside or slot. He's already passed Amendola up:

Nothing serious but he was always banged up. Already showing up on the injury report this year on his shoulder that he had surgery on

I think he can produce similar to Lafell, but Hogan is a much better player. Definitely worth a stash to see if he connects with Brady as they supposedly did during offseason. He also has huge upside if Edelman gets injured again.

Hogan leads the Pats in air yards. I'm thinking that's why they brought him there, to be Brady's deep threat.

Would you start Hogan over Phillip Dorsett this week? (My WRs are all on bye.)
