I've got a good pick for the Jags in my mind...In our mock so far, the Jags already have JFF and Jarvis Landry, so it's time to give them some pass rush on defense. They also get good value here at pick 70 overall with...
Jerry Attaochu, OLB/DE, 6-3, 252, Georgia Tech
He had 12.5 sacks for the Yellow Jackets last year and will fit nicely in Gus Bradley's system.

Last name is pronounced a-towl-choo. Born in Ibadan, Nigeria. son of Paul and Comfort Attaochu. Outstanding overall make up. Respectful individual. Holds a tireless work ethic. Highly competitive. Quick learner and absorbs coaching well. Has experience as both a 34 OLB to 43 DE. Drew personal foul flag after hitting QB Logan Thomas with a closed fist in 2011 Virginia Tech game. Suspended for first half of the Duke game the following week.
quote:
Athletic and muscular frame with above-average height and length (33 arms). Good bulk with quality thickness throughout especially in the rear end. Bigger hands (9 7/8) for an OLB prospect. Clocked in with a 4.60 forty yard dash at his pro day which is above-average for the position.

With the 71st pick in the 2014 NFL Draft the Cleveland Browns select...
Bishop Sankey, RB, Washington
Bishop Sankey, RB, Washington
quote:
STRENGTHS: Natural football player who is better than the sum of his parts. Possesses excellent vision. Quickly identifies the hole and shows good burst to and through the line of scrimmage. Good lateral agility, including an impressive jump-cut to elude defenders in tight spaces.
Much more effective interior runner than he looks due to impressive core strength and forward lean. Possesses subtle quickness as would-be tacklers arrive to slip and slide through contact and is too strong for arm tackles. Rarely takes flush hits. Lowers his shoulder when preparing to do so, covering the ball with both hands.
Pass blocks the same way in which he runs, showing subtle power and quickness to quietly get the job despite less than ideal size. Quick to step up in pass protection, showing good technique to deflect, slide and anchor, as necessary, rather than slamming into bigger pass rushers. Soft, natural hands out of the backfield.
Durable. Never missed a game and emerged as workhorse. Recognized by the UW coaching staff as a hard worker and team leader. Voted team captain as a junior.

Perhaps drank wants to change his pick since Hyde was already picked...

Dammit! I swear I looked at the picks like twice. Pick change coming up

Browns would love that pick, especially since Sankey is better than Hyde.

With the 72nd pick overall, the Minnesota Vikings select...
Stan Jean-Baptiste, CB, 6-3, 218, Nebraska
In our mock, the Vikings get a guy who could conceivably be picked at the end of the 1st round in the actual draft in May, due to the recent trend of big cornerbacks. Cornerback also happens to be one of the team's top needs (especially in that division).

quote:
Broad shoulders, long limbs. Height matches Richard Sherman (SEA) at 2011 Combine. Jean-Baptiste weighed 23 more pounds at the time, but still ran an identical short-shuttle time of 4.33 and his 40-yard dash was one one-hundredth off Sherman's time of 4.61. In addition, Jean-Baptiste had slightly longer arms, and out-jumped Sherman by three inches in both the vertical and broad.
quote:
Former WR (another similarity shared with Sherman). Hands are good, but not elite. Long arms and big catching radius; tough to fit one in around him when he's in position. Outstanding leaping ability and good body control to adjust. Can be late locating ball over his shoulder when trailing vertical route. Better ball skills when attacking in front of him. Put ball skills on display with extended pluck INT vs. UCLA (1st QTR). In 2013, had one INT in each of first four games but none in final nine games. Still finished career with 22 PBU's and six INTs in 19 starts.

yeah, I'll admit I havn't looked into Sankey too much although I knew he was a consensus top-5 RB. I didnt realize how big he was. I mean hes not as big as Hill but he's got some bulk. After reading about him I think I'd actually put him at #2 behind Hill.

With the 73rd pick in the 2014 MSB Mock Draft, the Buffalo Bills select:
Trai Turner OG, LSU
The Bills select another OL in this draft which should be the last anchor EJ needs to make this offense successful. With Trai Turner and Cyrus on the OL, they will open up gaping holes for CJ to run through.
This is about where I would expect Trai to get drafted. Good fit for him

With the 74th pick in the 2014 MSB draft, the Giants select:
Isiah Crowell RB Georgia/Alabama State
In my honest opinion, he is the best RB in this class. If it would not have been for his off field issue, and the dismissal from the Georgia team, we would be talking about him as a top 10 pick. He is an absolute MONSTER. Look for him to play the "Bryce Brown" role for the first year or so then explode as a feature back for years to come. He crushed SEC defenses when he played for Georgia. I am really excited to see this kid in the NFL IF he can control his internal monsters.
FWIW, I believe Jeremy Hill is the second best RB in this class. Not that I am biased to LSU or anything, but he is your prototypical NFL RB.
