I wouldn't say it's an advantage at all..you can read a few articles on mock draft strategy and have the same knowledge I have.

Major difference in draft vs auction is you have to have a plan in auction..Have to decide where you want to put your $ and how you want to budget out the positions.

Draft you can sit back and let the draft determine your strategy, can't do this in an auction at all..which makes it way more challenging/fun/enjoyable.

I've never done an auction either. I ain't scared of these motherfrickers.

I ain't scared either. Im just saying, the whole "it brings more strategy" is kind of thrown out the window, at least in year 1, when some of the people have done auction multiple times.

I can come up with what I think is a sound strategy on paper, but I will never know until I do a few drafts. That's all I am saying.

Im playing with house money anyway. Dont really care either way. Just don't be surprised if there are some really shitty teams.

I think Rick could back me up when i say, "...come at the king, you best not miss"

I'm still unsure how waivers will flow well in this format. It's my only grievance.

The $$$ only matters at the auction. After that the players' value is meaningless since we don't have keepers. Therefore, waivers should work the same as last year.

I'd like to see a free agent acquisition budget for waiver wire pickups.

I'd expect at least 4 or 5 more references to it before the draft if I were you.
