Just saying I'm not in a huge rush to draft. We are all at the same disadvantage here so im not crying foul.

What's the advantage? Everyone who you play against in your conference is drafting at the same time
There are numerous auction values you can look at predraft if that's the issue.

The main advantage is for newbies getting to see the auction style of drafting. Its easier to plan a strategy once seeing the other conference draft. There are a few smaller advantages I see also.

Has there ever been a preseason injury wreck a fantasy football team?
Brady was week 1 that year. I don't remember timing of AP news last year, but it had to be real close to start of season as I drafted him in my last draft.
An injury is about the only benefit to drafting as late as possible. But avoiding injuries is all luck anyways.

I don't think that's an advantage
We are not responsible to hold a newbies hand when it comes to learning the auction style. And if that's the only way you can plan a strategy this may be the wrong league

I love drafting around preseason week 2.
