I disagree. stream a spot. get to the 49. it encourages activity on the waiver wire which makes the league turnover and more active which increases league engagement.

last year, I quite literally drafted my team set the lineup once a week and then let it win. there is already a limited level of engagement in this league by some owners. if we want this league to be over after every draft then we ll change the rule to the 45 game limit.

otherwise, find/trade for players good enough to dominate on short hand weeks. or be willing to let players you like slip back into the FA/W pool.

ETA: I made 30 moves all season. more than half of which were in the playoffs. the pandemic made 7 moves. average moves roughly 45

This. All of this. Might as well make it weekly lineups it we go to 45 games. I enjoy hittting the waiver wire every morning, seeing what stats I need, when my guys are playing and grinding to get to 50. Plus it gives shittier teams a slight advantage of a little flexibility.

But if we want to discourage streaming why don't we start by lowering the 7 transactions we have a week. Make it 4 if "streaming" is such an issue.

Randy Foye if he got 35 mpg

Foye career per 36 vs CJM 35.1 mpg

15 ppg (13 shots) vs 19.8 (17.4 shots)
4 apg vs 3.8 apg
3 rpg vs 3.5 rpg
2.1 3pm vs 2.4 3pm
85% FT vs 90% FT
40% FG vs 43% FG

CJM FG% by month - 45% Nov, 38% Dec. Oddly enough both teams are not competitive in FG% . So basically what we thought he was - inefficient Randy foye volume shooter who will find cats playing 35 mpg

Actually top 25. If thats what you call inefficient, so be it. I would take Randy Foye if he were playing those minutes too...no need to be so salty about it. I remember you being high on CJ out of college so you can hang your hat on that, mate.

I never used Randy Foye as a negative connotation, you just took offense to it

My other point of contention was he would hurt FG%. A lot of players have negatives, doesn't make him a bad player. He can be 25 on the PR and still be an inefficient chucker bc it's still weighing 3PM and points and he's getting those in volume

On a different note...Bradley Beal just can't stay healthy. It's going to be interesting to see if any teams are willing to max him out this summer. He fits the NBA game perfectly, but he can't hide from these stress reactions.

I think in this rising cap it's foregone that brad beal is maxed out. he could tear his ACL and still get the max. he's younger and a better shooter with more upside than Matthews and he got close to the max last year. with all the teams with room, he s maxed first day.
