It looks like knat still has me by .5 a game regardless, no big deal

Injuries are mounting at the wrong time

Knat is up on you by 3 games. It should be 1. It won't let me change it, but in the event that it comes down to it I will change the seeding because you would have won two categories. It was SB Sunday and no one was looking at it, but he definitely went over costing you boards and ft%.

d i possibly go over just setting my lineup? i don't even think i picked anyone up last week that played.

You had 48 games going into Sunday, and had all of your players on your bench. How do you set your lineup on a Sunday and not look at the GP

this might be my problem. i very rarely look at games played.

usually just set my lineup. kind of dumb to have a games limit that can be surpassed just by playing the players avail.

So it does matter I guess

Last week. There is no game limit to worry about. ESPN sets it to 100 since it's a 2 week matchup.

Kind of dumb considering that the all-star break makes it pretty close to a normal matchup regarding games played due to all of the days off.

in all the leagues i've played other than this one, it's been as long as you don't go over the day before, your games count.

used to be able to stream those extra games to get above the limit on the last day.

What is the point in having a game limit? You could go into Sunday with 49 and end up playing 59.

occasionally, that would totally happen.

not saying that it makes sense. that's just how they did it. i think it was smaller rosters and a 40 game limit.
it became part of the strategy.

in some ways, it made it fun. it encouraged turnover of rosters. you might decide to let go of a player that you might otherwise keep to try and win that week on volume alone on that sunday. the monday waivers were always flooded with good players.

so funny that we have this real awkward two week week for the last week of the season. however, probably better than being the knockout round of the playoffs?
on that front, i think it's super weird that we go from playing one week matchups until the playoffs and then suddenly we have two week matchups?

maybe next year we do one week matchups all the way through? longer regular season.

additionally it seems weird to have our regular season ending before even the nba trade deadline when important players can be traded and shift the fortunes of playoff teams. i kind of think the playoff teams should at least be able to adjust for these real life things.

lastly, is there any trading deadline at all in this league or can we trade in the playoffs?

No trading in the playoffs. The last day of the regular season is the deadline.

you are gonna be fricked when we vote to reduce game splayed limit to 45 in the offseason

That is the next step. We do it in TDBA. I was originally against it but there's more strategy involved than just setting your lineup and playing whoever / streaming. 45 is a good number.

Yeah...you have to think about lineups and cats you want to target earlier in the week.

i think knowing that i'd be heading towards definitive punting of the last day would keep me a little more engaged rather than every 8 weeks accidentally going over.

ETA: but also, yes, i'll be fricked
