It was directed @ me (the only one in both leagues who voted for dynasty).

I respectfully disagree with my boy.

No I was talking to Matt v mistakingly

Though I would prefer for you to focus on your rebuild in the other league. You can't just sell a good team and go uber young then quench your thirst for competiton by joining another dynasty imo

Not worth losing some focus and upsetting the competitive aspect that the league has worked to achieve in just a few short seasons. Thus begins the slow deterioration of the league

Respectfully. If these dudes want a dynasty my personal preference is no one from the other joins.

This makes no sense. I have always been in two basketball leagues. If we do a redraft every year, what is the difference? Why can't I have a different strategy for each league? When have I ever been someone who loses focus? I have been the most active owner in that league to date. That's a pretty shitty accusation to throw at someone for the sake of winning an argument that shouldn't really exist in the first place.

What are you basing that off of?

I'm not accusing you of anything that you should be offended for or trying to win an argument

I'm not opposing two basketball leagues. I will play in two. I'm talking about two similar basketball leagues. a yearly redraft doesn't take the whole up the time and dedication of a dynasty. Joining Two dynasty on the same board isn't good for either league, that's just my opinion.

It's human nature. Most fantasy players will lean towards the league that is new and shiny, especially if they aren't a threat to win the older league any time soon. Eventually, interest in the older league suffers, leading to an uptick in owner turnover.

It's a valid one. I agree.

Y'all should really strongly consider making TDBBL a yearly redraft league if the owners are going to remain the same. Probably should turn TDBL into a yearly redraft as well.

I agree with gyne's thought process in general there.

We've seen it throughout the years with with many baseball league. "I'm gonna quit this league and focus on the other". "I like the new leagues rule structure better, gonna quit this one and join that one". I would say the majority of the owners have played and quit RW3R, TDBL, and FSDBL at different times.

However, I think that hoops is unique b/c it's the hardest to find a quality league.

Yearly redraft you just keep rolling year to year. Gotta keep having good drafts to be competitive.

The only reason I never joined RW3R was because it was way too much like TDBL.

You just insinuated that I am pushing for a dynasty because I chose to rebuild in TDBA when the fact is that all I care about is making this league better, period. I have been the one throwing out ideas, some redraft and some dynasty. I have said I would be good with either. It shouldn't be just about me, but I would be active in both leagues. Weird that I was the first to try to keep you around when you decided to quit. Whatever.

I'm out if we yearly redraft though. I like building. I like playing with you guys. But redraft simply hold no appeal to me.
