Yea, Jordy was a heartbreaker for a lot of folks. Especially considering the year he had in 2014.

Someone make me feel good about the 8th pick in a PPR.
I'm trying to convince myself I'll be happy with AJ Green or Dez at 8, but I can't do it.
I think the top 3 spots are just so much better this year.

I'd be happy with green at 8 but I doubt he'll be there, been seeing him ranked over hopkins or just behind him pretty consistently

Yeah, it may be wishful thinking that he is there at 8.
The league I'm in, we can start up to 4 WRs so it's not uncommon for a team to start WR,WR,WR.
I'm getting sick thinking the top position could start off with something like AB, DT88, Cooks

I would never pick AJ Green in the top 8. Thats just me though.

yeah green's total score always ends up among WR1s, but gets a large boost from his blow up weeks, but he's definitely prone to weeks of pretty meh results. His hype this year seems to mostly be that he's got little to no competition for targets so we'll see.
Who do you have ranked ahead of him at WR? The top 3 are pretty clear, after that I think arguments can be made for the next 4-5 guys.

Actually haven't looked into the losing Sanu and Jones aspect. I had Jordy, Dez, ARob, Alshon and Cooks over him. Might actually bump him up now.

Outside of the top 3, probably just Hopkins. I think he's more versatile, a little stronger, and should have more targets. Also, like you said, the consistency.
Hopkins QB is questionable, but he seemed to be QB proof last year.

I don't think his QBs held him back as much as some think, I think I read they actually combined to be a something like QB #15, not great but not bad. We don't know much about Osweiler but he didn't exactly light it up with some talented WRs in Denver
with Lamar Miller and some upgraded talent at WR, I wonder if he'll have the same market share. I'm not knocking Hopkins, but I think he's closer to the tier 2 guys than the tier #1s. So yeah he's still #4 but not undisputed

I went aj green 5th in a ppr league. I like him more than the top running backs.

I think the backend of the draft is the best position,imo, so 8th ain't bad. Can scoop two WR1s then some decent RB starters.
