I just tried Great Raft for the first time last weekend

I liked it.

Probably my third favorite LA brew.

I've only had the stuff you can get in NOLA; Commotion was a good APA but the rest wasn't worth buying. We don't get their good stuff here.

There's a guy in the FBD threads that seems like he works for them. Any idea what he does over there?

I met the brewery owners at Lagers in Metairie one night. First time having their beer - I ordered a Commotion and it came out the color of a lager. Told the waitress she gave me the wrong beer. She brings it back to the bartender who insists it's Commotion. Distributor was there and he comes over and insists its the right beer; he says it's definitely Commotion since it's a very light pale ale. I look at him in disbelief and then just go about my business drinking the lager. Someone at the table orders GR's pale lager to see what comes out, and it's not a lager. We tell them their lines are crossed and they once again proceed to tell us we are wrong. People walk in with GR shirts on since it was their NOLA rollout. We show them which beers they're calling which and they go over to tell th distributor he's wrong and the lines are backwards. Those distributors have no earthly idea what they're doing.

Grace & Grit and Commotion

I didn't like Commotion at first but after 2 of them the taste was acquired

LSURoss... all I know is that he is their 'brand manager'.

They are good people... they come down and tailgate with my group a few times most seasons.

Sucks when the customers know more about the beers than the bartenders/distributors.

Haven't had the grace and grit yet. I have a few comotions in the fridge. I'm a simpleton though so I prefer the southern draw.

Weird, I felt the same about the comotion but I had some in the fridge and thought I would give it a and try. You were spot on. After the 1st one that aftertaste grew on me to the point where I like it a lot.

Way to put up a fight, Jew. Trotting that shite out in a playoff deciding matchup is fricking embarrassing.

That is how you get the #1 pick in the draft.
