For OP, I'm picking Nuk at #7.
As for the Nuk v. DT88 discussion, Nuk is
1) better player than DT88
2) transcends bad QB play
3) was the only true playmaker on that team last year
4) opponents began game planning to stop Nuk, hence the splits
5) he still held his own regardless
6) texans have added complimentary weapons this season
I expect Nuk's targets to drop, but his efficiency to increase.

Being as I pick at 7 in our draft I'm not giving out any info y'all can use against me

Nuk will be gone before you pick.

I figured that. I'm just not giving any info on who I really want

Y'all some FF degenerates.

You want EE or reach for Lamar at #7.
I'm in so many TD leagues, some of what I say is what I think and some is misinformation.
Example: I'm going to bid Nuk up to at least $60 in auction drafts.

Demaryius is that his play declined last year.
He had terrible QB play and fished 7th in the NFL catches and 7th in Yards. I mean you act like he turned into 2015 Andre Johnson.
They couldn't get him the ball downfield. His plays of 20+ yards greatly diminished because Peyton Maning couldnt throw and they just leaned on their defense.
I was one of the biggest Hopkins proponents last year, but lets face it, that offense was predicated on just throwing it up to him. They paid money for a QB, added a really good RB, and drafted a WR in the 1st RD. I just feel like the offense will have a little more structure. I honestly dont see them forcing him the ball 192 times, and i see his numbers coming down slightly. I certainly think he is in play at pick 7 in a PPR. Id just rather the sure thing

Come on now, you're going to be bidding up LE to $50 for DT88 in Tiger and I'm going to nab him for $16 in Droppings.

QB Rating 2015
Texans QB combined 85.3
Hoyer 91.4
Mallet 63.6
Weeden 107.7
Yates 80.3
Denver QB 76.5
Peyton 67.9
Osweiler 86.4
DT88 105rec-1304yd with that shite QB play

Talk about transcending bad QB play, look at what Thomas did W osweiler and manning at the helm
Now Hopkins gets Osweiler
42% completion percentage on balls 9+ yards down field. His yards per attempt ranked 31st. 46% comp in the RZ. Sacked on 10% of drop backs.
Remember that OAK game when 8 of his 46 passes went more than 10 yards. It might not be crazy to think Lamar Miller leads that team in receptions
BOB is a supposed QB whisperer, he's got a lot of whispering to do with Osweiler.
This is a case of recency bias. Let's weigh all the new factors in each offense. Whatcha gonna do this year, brotha? A lot of discrediting DT in an off year where he went 100/1300. Guy was a stronghold in the top 5 for years, he isn't going anywhere

more Osweiler stuff
In the six games last season in which Brock Osweiler played the entire game, 44.7 percent of his completions went to players that were NOT wide receivers
During the Bill O'Brien era in Houston, non-wide receivers have accounted for 31.1 percent of receptions.
In his two years under O'Brien, Arian Foster averaged 23 touches a game. That would work out to be 368 touches in a full 16-game season.
whats all this mean? well BOB wants to get the RB involved. He had no run game last year. Hopkins, im almost certain, wont get 192 targets. He's still a WR 1 for me but im not expecting the same numbers

Of course. I just expect more ebbs and flows with Osweiler and Fuller/Miller. Jalaen Strong is said to have done a 360. Brax Miller will be everywhere
The Texans are probably a better team is Hopkins isn't gobbling every target in the offense.
Alls I'm saying

DT88 is gonna be a great value this year for sure.

Who was Texans Qb last year? Brian Hoyer?

Like I said I'm not lying to y'all. You got half of this right
#7: Lamar. Nuk/Gurley if they fall (unlikely)
#18: Best WR on your board (lots of candidates here)
#31: You want Reed here, but he's gone so you go K.
Posted on 7/7/16 at 8:04 pm to drizztiger
#7: I'd jump on Gurley if he's there
#18: hopefully Gronk
#31: Gostkowski gotta lock up the best kicker in the league
