Peterson and it's not even close. How many teams? Is it a snake draft?

Not Gronk or EE. Either AP or Hopkins. Then Miller or Nelson with the next.

Would you really take DT at 7? He'd likely be available at 18

Go Nuk! Target monster and his QB just got better, take him and be happy!

This.
Regretted my decision on passing on him last year.

Yea.. He won't last til 18 in strong leagues esp PPR

Is Mark Sanchez the Qb in Denver? Is that the DT88 you're talking about?
Posted on 7/7/16 at 3:22 pm to RadBro
Seconded on Nuk, then target like a Lamar Miller on the turn
Posted on 7/7/16 at 3:28 pm to RadBro
Hopkins, then try and get Lacy or Miller on the turn.

Mark Sanchez is better than what was in Denver last year

Still difficult seeing him being the next pick , much less the next WR to go off the board in this scenario.

i like Hopkins too, but you're drafting based on what will happen this year, not what happened last year.
Texan's should be more balanced offensively, Denver will likely throw more this year than they did last year. QB upgrade as well coming in. Hopkins wont see 192 targets again, at least I dont think so.
DT88 went for 105 catches(6 less than Hopkins) and 1300 yrds last year. That's amazing considering Peyton couldnt throw it more than 15 yards. His TDs were down to 6 after averaging 12TD over the 3 seasons before that. He should be good for 95-105 catches, 1400 yards and close to 10 TDs. He's as sure of a thing as their is at WR yet i just looked and is going 41 ADP in ESPN leagues right now. LO fricking L

The reason people are down on Demaryius is that his play declined last year...whether it was just variance or a drop off in skills is yet to be seen.
I wouldn't expect the TDs to get back in the double digits, he's never been a great red zone target. I also expect the red zone passing attempts to drop without Peyton and having a healthy CJ Anderson.

To answer your question, I would definitely take Hopkins. Peterson's upside gets neutralized a good bit in a PPR.

Hopkins numbers went down quite a bit in the second half of last year when the defense stepped up.

They did go down:
66-870-6 in the first half
45-651-5 in the 2nd half
Even Nuk's depressed 2nd half pace would have outscored Demaryius last year.
