So you could just bench all of your pitchers on Sunday if you want to sit on the % cats. That's what we want?

If you have met the 25 innings I wouldn't want to risk my other cats if sitting good.

yea, at the least, add guys that aren't going to pitch. I did that last year in lieu of just leaving it blank. I thought that is something we agreed on last year

This is the "Louie T rule"

He's famous for that tactic

If you fulfill your innings and minimum roster requirements then I don't see a real problem.

I think most of is follow the unwritten rule of having a full lineup. Integrity.

Then bench them and start someone else.

I don't think it's a huge issue personally, but you should at least have a legal lineup. I brought it up because I had people asking about it.

The benefit of rostering 10 SP is getting to get to pick and choose which starters' matchups you like. It shouldn't be that in addition to those not owning 10 SP getting screwed by being forced to start starting pitcher X on Sunday despite already having 40 IP.

Damnation. I didn't know we could do that. I've gotten killed by some RPs after the 25 in the past.

And there was no rule ever created. TDBL was the only legal lineup requirement

Vote on it if you'd like it changed for 2015.

Should we have full starting lineups or should we allow the Louie T's and Wiseguys of the world to only have 2 starters in their lineup all week?

Remember, I'm brand new to this league. This is the first time someone has said anything about this since I've joined - or at least that I've noticed.

What's the deal? I can't bench starters once I hit the 25 min inning pitch limit? Why not move it to 30 as you can still adjust scoring settings?

Little more explanation please.

You can bench starters and leave the roster spot open, but I personally you should have a full starting roster. Just put the guys who are not pitching in your spots instead of blanks.

Kind of handcuffed over here with four pitchers on the DL. I mean, do I really need to put Mark Appel in my starting lineup?

What the difference of leaving it blank or not if that player isn't pitching/playing?

Once the IP limit is reached, it shouldn't even matter. If this is some kind of cosmetic issue, it's very... fruity.

It was a rule that CBS had when we had started with that site. You had to have a full lineup or your lineup was illegal.

last year we found out ESPN didnt have the same rule. So there was/is always some gray area.

i know last year i picked up inactive pitchers to fill roster spots, rather than just leaving it blank.

Everyone has the option to do it

We can hammer something out in the offseason if it's an issue

CBS didn't require a full lineup, but it has the option to require one, which we chose to do.

ESPN did not have this setting therefore, people were allowed to roll with incomplete lineups.

The one thing I like about DAT is the fact that it's 2 SP, 2 RP, & 4 P slots in your starting lineup as opposed to 5 SP & 3 RP. That makes it easier to have a "legal lineup" and allows you to carry more than 3 CL. If you decide to draft more than 3 CL, be my guest
