Preferences on Draft Position?

12-team 0.5 PPR
Apparently names will be pulled out of a hat and that person gets to pick where they would like to draft until all the draft spots have been filled.
This is pretty new to me....any thoughts on advantageous draft position if given a choice?

10-12 for me personally if it's a snake draft

First 3 or last 3. Hate the middle.
I'll say I really like 1-3. I can get one of the big 3 WRs, then come back around and get another solid WR like Allen, Evans, Alshon, etc. and then a decent RB like Charles, McCoy, Lacy, Ingram (Or 2 of the above WRs or RB if you like that better).

I'd probably take a spot around 8 - 9 - 10 something like that this year.

Was #3 in a 10 man, #7 in a 12.

I don't think it really matters this year due to people using different strategies like the "zero RB" and the traditional strategy. Depending on your league, players are being reached for and falling in drafts

12 is cool in the first Round but you don't get the same value as the draft persists

Lots of differing opinions. Maybe my name will be pulled last and it won't matter

I picked 7th in a 10 team and got an awesome squad. Picked last in 12 team PPR and wasn't a fan of the options on the board.
If I had my choice it would be 3 in ppr and 6 in standard

This year, I'd take #1 just for Brown. If not that I'd want to be 3 or 4.
