Playoff question

14 team league, 6 made playoffs, top 2 got first round bye. Last week first round of playoffs, 4 seed beat 5 seed, 6 seed upset 3 seed. This week, who should #1 seed be playing?
The commish had set the playoff bracket in the preseason without considering upsets, so as of now #1 vs #4 and #2 vs #6. The #1 seed believes he should be playing the #6 seed as that should be the reward for being the 1 seed. Thoughts?

We have an identical situation in our league. 4 seed (me) is playing the 1 while the 6th seed advanced and is playing the 2. I found it a little strange when I saw this morning, but bottom line is that was the setup at the start of the season so it should stand.
Don’t like it, change the rule for next season.

In my leagues it’s always been 1 vs 4-5 and 2 vs 3-6

One of my retarded leagues did a 4 team, 2 round playoff with no byes and the waiver priority is reverse order of standings. So the 4 seed got the best advantage

The default on espn is the 1 plays the 4/5 winner and the 2 plays the 3/6 winnner. No reseeding
