So I was thinking it would be cool to have a thread where we could get opinions on one player vs another player and who the board thinks is better.

I'll go first with one I'm having a tough time with

Matt Forte NYJ
Ryan Matthews Phi

While I personally feel like Forte is on the back end of his career, he's going to get plenty of touches in NY and still has talent

On the flip side we all know how talented Ryan Matthews can be and he's in line for a bigger load. The question is can he handle it or will the glass man break down again?

Opinions?

I literally have nothing to go on but gut feeling here, but give me Forte. I actually have both of them in one league and I'll be rolling out Forte as a starter week 1 and have Matthews ride the pine til he proves something.

Forte is at the end of his career and will be challenged on 2 fronts. Khiry is a significantly better goal line back than Forte while Powell is a very good reviving back. Forte has also been dealing with a hamstring issue. He scares me this year and his adp doesn't price in the risk.

My debate was Keenan Allen vs Mike Evans vs Sammy Watkins. I lean Allen because I think he is going to be a target hog this year and has always been efficient with his catches. I think he is going to end up top 8.

I rank them
Evans
Allen
Watkins

In standard, PPR Allen gets a bump

Player A: L. Murray, O is getting better and he had a decent year last year

Player B. D. Murray. We all know what he can do, new team, injury prone

Player C. Forte. Splitting carries and getting older. Still a middle tier rb in my book.

Leaning L. Murray at this point for middle rounds

My debate was Keenan Allen

I like Allen a lot too. Getting Allen, Landry and Tate on the same team this year will be a 500+ target WR corps. If I miss on the no.1's early, Im targeting those three.

I'm not sold on Tate. There's been a lot of buzz out of Detroit that Marvin Jones is probably the #1 guy out there.

Latavius Murray out of those. He had a ton of touches last year and apparently the coaches want to give him even more this year. That, coupled with the improved OL make him a good value RB at his ADP.

Jones is the no.1 guy there, but that doesn't mean that Tate wont get 10 targets a game. He'll be the sticks guy. I'll take 8 for 80 every week with a TD every other wk from my no.3.
