My league has one keeper each season And 7 bench slots. The team with Jordy Nelson dropped him, which means I could pick him with a keeper value of $0 next year. The disadvantage of course if that I have to tie up a roster spot all year.

Any opinions on his value next year? Can he return as a top 5 or 10 guy next year?

Pick him up late in the season if you have a roster spot available.

Pick him up now before anyone else does.

Our league drafted the day before he went down, but I definitely would have drafted him as a keeper if it had been after.

Does your team have a designated IR slot? Someone in our league drafted Benjamin for cheap and stuck him on IR so that he doesn't even have to waste a bench spot this season.

This

Adapt now and come to terms that you'll use 1 less bench spot this season. Chances are it would've been a guy you never use anyway

I drafted him in the 12th round for this exact reason.

I highly doubt I'm going to find much better value next year than Jordy Nelson in the 12th round. Plus we get an IR spot.

Question.. when will he officially be listed on the IR on Yahoo?

Eta - Nelson is currently on IR and in my IR spot now
