Is Brian Quick worth a pickup in a 10 team league?

He was a top 20 fantasy WR the first six weeks of last season before having season ending surgery and I believe he's the #1 WR for the Rams. Why isn't anyone drafting this guy? Am I missing something?

what other WR's are available? Not trying to take a dump on Quick but in a 10 team league you should be able to do better than that.

I organized the list by % owned. Figured that was the best way to show the most notable available.
ETA: I dont necessarily need a WR. I was just getting a little uneasy about the Alshon Jeffery situation and was looking to see if there may be anyone worth a pickup over someone I already have and I came across Quick.

two that stick out to me are LaFell and Stevie Johnson.
I'd feel better about them starting out than Quick.

Quick has a few nice matchups after the opener though. If you like him, stick with him.

Thanks for the insight.
I was just going over options and was wondering why he hasn't gotten more attention

LaFell is a little sketchy I guess b/c of Brady's situation but Pittsburgh's D might be the perfect remedy Week 1 no matter who is the QB.
Stevie Johnson hasn't played with a QB as good as Rivers before. Eddie Royal did a lot of damage in the same spot last year and I think Johnson can do the same.
No problem.

I would monitor victor cruz's injury in regards to Reuben Randle.
I'd also watch LaFell in regards to Reggie Wayne.
Like Stevie Johnson a lot this year, too.
Quick is a decent option, too. A lot of questions surrounding Nick Foles and that ground and pound offense, though.
I think if LaFell is cleared, he's your guy. Edelman is beat up ATM too. Then I'd prob go Stevie, quick, Randle. If Cruz is out w1 Randle may be a great stream option

Terrance Williams
Probably has the best QB situation, outside of LaFell with Brady. Teams will try to put double coverage on Dez, for obvious reasons. Witten keeps the LBers honest underneath. The offensive line is amazing. Their stable of RBs is underwhelming, to say the least. T Williams is going to have a big year.

Don't forget about Cole Beasley. He made some pretty daring catches last season. I think Terrance will have a good year but he reminds me of a poor mans Desean Jackson. He can catch the long ball and may put up huge numbers or a goose egg from week to week. He's a good bye week streamer because I don't really see much consistency throughout the season.
Out of the list shown I would go with LaFell (if he's healthy)

I'd go with Stevie Johnson. Gates out the first 4 games, more 3WR sets. Johnson in the slot, I like him a lot for at least the first month of the season.

I kept him for $11/300 in my auction league and subsequently drafted him late in my snake keeper league. If he returns to early 2014 form, he's the defacto #1. I realize the new QB situation and the running philosophy, but there is at least some value to be had there. Fisher liked/likes Britt enough to have posted some great numbers before, so it's not out of the question, and Britt is a walking ace bandage. My leagues are 12 teams each, so I'm holding Quick over the likes of WR4s with little to no upside. Depending on the strength of your WRs, it may or may not make sense to stash Quick on your roster, given your league is only 10 teams.

Agree with this. I have him as my 4th receiver so he'll fill in for injuries and maybe a couple of bye weeks for me.

I picked him up off waivers to handcuff Dez if he gets injured. I like #2 WR's in pass heavy offenses but I typically have one or two receivers that I "stash" late in the draft in the event that they blow up. I took Cody Latimer in one and Ty Montgomery in another league. Probably safer bets out there but I like the ceiling on guys like that. Have Terrance Williams and Martavis Bryant as my bellcow bench receivers with Breshad Perriman and Cody Latimer as my high potential options

I recently picked him up in a 12-man league. Lots of upside, but I'm certainly not counting on him to start for me.

Grabbed him in two 12 trainers. Somebody's gotta catch in STL

Garcon will be a pretty good WR with Cousins at QB.

Thanks for the input everyone. My next question is, are any of these guys worth a pickup over Charles Sims? That's who I'd have to drop to pick up one of these guys.

I would keep Sims a few weeks just to see how Doug Martin pans out.
