I drafted Ajayi knowing that foster was likely to miss time.

Should I grab drake too?
Not sure who will give better value in PPr.

Drake will be more valuable in PPR with Foster out, but I wouldn't expect much. Tannehill will just sit it out all game.

Other than you being a Bama fan, what evidence would you have to say that?

In the limited time we've seen the offense with out Foster, Ajayi had more carries and targets in the passing game. Ajayi has played 37 snaps to Drakes 19, and 14 of Drakes snaps came in Week 1 when Ajayi was inactive.

Drake received a goal line carry Sunday. Not sure if they were in hurry up or what.

Drake is better at football. He was nicked up in the preseason and nursing a hammy so it's not surprising he's been brought along slow. He was the second back taken in the draft last year and has a gear that Ajayi couldn't dream of. He's an elite receiver at the RB position, has lined up at X, Y, and Z in college. Over the course of the season, Drake will outscore Ajayi in all formats. Ajayi is in the coaches doghouse too. He was a healthy scratch in week 1 with attitude problems and then fumbled last week. In a comeback attempt, a cold Kenyan Drake got the redzone carry over Ajayi and scored. The writing is on the wall. I think Landry is the only legitimate fantasy starter on that team, but Drake could surprise, he has the skill set to be a flex option in PPR this season

And yet still took the bulk of the snaps when Foster went down in week 2.

I agree with this.

I just wouldn't read too much into that. Drake essentially didn't get a preseason while he nursed a hamstring injury. It makes sense that they have more trust in Ajayi to come in and carry the load in week 2, than a rookie getting his first live action. Despite that, he still got yanked in the red zone in favor of Drake. Ajayi just isn't very good. We know what we're getting with him. Drake might not be any better, but he definitely has a higher ceiling. If you're looking at either one of these backs I think it should be as a stash in case they blow up- Drake is the only one that fits the bil there. Ajayi has already proven to be a dime a dozen running back

With continued injury from Foster, Drake will slowly take the lead back roll and does offer PPR possibilities.

Can he block?

I've seen too many talented backs not get work because they can't do pass blocking. Drake is a great athlete, but never struck me as a polished back in college and Miami's oline isn't amazing. I'm probably picking him up, because Woodhead and Abdullah are banged up in my 14 man league with a ton of offensive starting positions, but im far from sold it won't be Jay being the lead back.

Convince me I'm wrong, because I really want to be.
