they are probably going to be in very good shape in ppr. I know it's one week but those moves alone (which very few "experts" touted look good early.

I'll play...

Add Hopkins and Brady to that team

No doubt because of the 3 I mentioned, only 1 used up an early pick.

Define late, Ivory didn't stick around for too long in any of my leagues. He did work in my flex spot yesterday.

I don't really expect it to be consistent though. Same with Woodhead

Woodhead will get 10 points a game minimum PPR

Any team worth a poop had Ivory and Woodhead on the bench anyway.

Woodhead is money in the red zone, and a big part of the reason I pegged him as my RB2. He simply takes snaps away from Gordon on that part of the field and is a good pass-catcher out of the backfield.

The rest of my team is stacked, so having a guy like Woodhead chip in at least 10 points each week in PPR is fine by me.

Started Woodhead as my RB 2 over Spiller. Forsett is my 1. Woodhead is now entrenched in my flex since Dez is out and my WR's are Matthews and Tate.

I had someone offer Woodhead for Davante Adams this week and I rejected it. Kinda feel dumb now but I want to give it another week or two.

Woodhead was nearly a RB1 in 2013. Catches passes and Rivers crowned him his GL RB

Ivory has always produced when healthy. This is the best offense he's ever been in with the Jets

Both those guys are viable fantasy options if they stay on the field

I drafted Ivory to be my RB2 in a 12 team league.

bc I know what I'm doing. obviously you don't.

I wouldnt want either as my every week starter. I'd be selling high on those 2.

Woodhead had 12 carries and 4 catches this week. Gordon had 14 carries and 3 catches in his first nfl game. Woodhead gets more goalline carries is his only advantage, but if you want a part time RB in your weekly lineup, be my guest. That offense runs through Rivers and Woodhead will be highly TD dependant.

Ivory is a RB2 at best. Too bad they dont play the Browns every week and get served up 5 turnovers.

And Gronk is Gronk but most teams arent going to leave him uncovered all night like Pittsburgh. Probably will be his best game of the year.

This thread is full of typical week 1 overreaction.

And the Chargers showed their confidence in him by drafting a RB in the 1st round.

It's also full of players that don't play in 8 team leagues.

Woodhead and Ivory are very viable PPR RB2s.

What makes them more valuable is that each were likely inexpensive additions to their teams - especially in auctions. That theoretically should have them surrounded by a better team.

The only overreaction is a RB2 is going to push out about 13ppg, not the 20+ Ivory/Woodhead put out week 1.

Ryan Mathews was a first round RB and woodhead seemed to do alright playing alongside him.

And they showed their confidence again by giving Woodhead all the RZ carries

No need to feel dumb, but with Danny Woodhead's use in the red zone over Melvin Gordon, he is a touchdown threat every week.

You're right bro, im sure they drafted Gordon in the 1st round just to spell Danny Woodhead.

They're decent flex, good bye week fill ins, (for ppr only in Woodhead's case). If you're starting either one at RB2 every week its going to be a long season. Sorry if you guys dont want to hear that.
