Mcaffrey went #1 and Dalvin Cook went #2.... who should I take? I'm thinking going Fournette and Corey Davis... What says the fantasy board? I also thought about going Fournette and Mixon, but i really like Corey Davis

I'd go Fournette, Davis. It's much harder to find potentially elite receivers right out of college.

I'd take the two potential bellcows in fournette and Mixon. Those guys are incredibly talented and will have tons of opportunity, I'm surprised Cook went over them. Not a lot of those coming up in the league these days, but a Corey Davis? Probably have a shot at a similar receiver next year

If you can get Hunt at #12, then that makes my decision easier about not giving you a hard time passing on Mixon.

If I had the #1 pick, I'm going Mixon

Mike Williams has the higher upside than Davis IMO

He's got some competition but the chargers always seem to have all their WRs on IR in week 4

Corey davis isn't even a top 10 pick in a rookie draft for me in Tennessee. Will be a better IRL guy

Plus rookie RB hit rate >>>> WR hit rate. This guy should've taken the points with the 2RBs and let vet WRs do the lifting through the air

Passing on Mixon is flat out dumb. Dude is a stud

Easy schedule and Mariota had a pretty unreal 8 game stretch of passing TDs. Davis will be fine.

People said the same about Sharpe last year

We don't want to rely on TD receptions in a week to week game, too inconsistent. We want the TDs to supplement receptions and yards.

TEN was bottom 5 in pass attempts, top 5 in rushing attempts. Delanie, Matthews, and Murray almost own 50% of the target volume in a low volume attack

I like davis a lot just know his fantasy value is capped in TEN

Check the RB data in CIN, Mixon is going to be a huge fantasy contributor. It's a mistake passing on him. One could argue Kamara, Hunt, William and Evan Engram over Davis imo

I like all the guys you listed as well. I just think Davis steps on the field and becomes the top passing target immediately; Delanie getting older, Demarco with high mileage, Matthews not nearly as talented. I honestly feel top WRs are safer for the long term aspect as well. As far as next year I could definitely see 70 catches 900 yards and 8 TDS. This is definitely a good draft to have a good number of picks in. I don't doubt any of those picks will bode well, but WR is shallow this year and he is above and beyond the rest by a good bit IMO. If you need a WR he is the one to get.

I went with Davis and Fournette. Maybe Mixon will be available at #12. If not, I'll try and get Kareem Hunt

No way Dixon should slide past 3 in anything other than a 1 RB league

you maybe could have gotten Davis at 12. If not, definitely a similarly talented player

im not a huge fan of carrying over players in football. It has become so year to year with players and unpredictable. I think the strategy involved in fantasy baseball has me spoiled.

Gotcha

I just enjoy having to pay attention in the off-season and having real off-season activity for football
