Just curious about what similarly talented WR could be had at 12.

Let this man post the draft results and I'll tell you
You just gotta have some foresight. The highest picked guys aren't always in the best spot.

In no way trying to talk shite. Was honestly curious. I'm no expert but I view Davis as by far the best prospect in the draft. I also hold Mariota in higher esteem than most fantasy people it seems. He already passed the Alex Smith line that people set for him to me and has a chance to improve even more. I think he becomes a PPR stud and positional value vaults him in that top 5 for me. Splitting hairs when mentioning a prospect like Mixon who I also like, but there isn't any guarantee he comes swinging out the gates either and plays a position with a shorter shelf life and sees more no names become commodities than the receiver spot.

I like Davis & even Mariotta but I'm just not sure he's destined for greatness in that offense
If I'm picking 7th or 8th sure. But I'm not picking him over Mixon.
I don't disagree with you that WRs have a longer shelf life. But banners hang forever, they say.
At 12 I'd look at a guy like Evan Engram, Smith-Schuster, Curt Samuel even Tawyan Taylor who could fit that off better than Davis

I like that Davis can work all over the field similar to Diggs. I think if Mariota progresses then you have a WR1 and I'd be willing to take that risk in dynasty with a hole in my roster. He will be great in PPR as soon as the end of next year IMO even if Mariota can't make the down field throws. Sigmund Bloom put the words better than me calling Mariota an "anticipatory thrower." I think this fits extremely well with Davis' route running and suddenness he can provide even in traffic.

Kareem Hunt is available at my second round pick (#12).... thats the correct pick, right?
RB off the board:
Mcaffrey
Fournette
Cook
Mixon
Perine

Lester, you interested in starting a TD dynasty league?
I am

I'm not opposed to any of that
25+ Roster spots
Standard snake draft that includes rookie draft picks, or just throw rookies into the draft pool?

think what you wanna do is
everyone is available in the initial draft
then in following years, you do a rookie draft every offseason

i would take Kamara for sure
Foreman and Marlon Mack are a little higher on my list then Hunt

I'm not opposed to that. That's how my start up went and it worked out great.
I see many other starts up having draft picks as draftable options, then a rookie draft takes place later on in the off-season.
