1 trade that happened this week:

Traded Delanie Walker/Ryan Mathews for

Jordan Matthews/C West.

I have Jordan Reed as the replacement TE. I think I came out good. Needed a third RB and a decent WR option.

How the hell did you broker that?

I would get laughed at if I tried to broker that deal.

What did he see in this trade?

He did not have a good TE. My pitch was you have no TE, you get Walker(Top 5 TE ROS) and you already have a good crop of WRs/RBs. With this trade you will now have a good player at every single position. Give me Matthews plus C West for Mathews/Walker. He said frick it and went with it.

Made two trades in my 10 team league

Freeman for OBJ
Doug Martin and Diggs for Antonio Brown

I'm 5-4 and in 4th place with most points scored, I like my chances to win this league, though.

I'm now throwing out:
Brady
Peterson
Gurley
Jeffery
Brown
Beckham
Walker

12 team league I've made 3. I traded Lewis for Lamar Miller and VJax after week 2; traded VJax for Clay the next week; traded Keenan Allen for Ingram the week before Allen's injury.

Ive made bad trade after bad trade in one league.

I never get trade raped and it has happened multiple times in 1 league.

I had RB depth so I wasn't too worried about losing Lewis. I really wanted Jeffery and Lewis was on my bench and Cooper is hit or miss.

It worked out, which is one of the few trades that has for me.

The worst trade I made was K. Allen/D. Martin for Dez Bryant. I did this trade after Dez was hurt in game 1. Then Allen and Martin decide to go nuts and I was left with Bryant being hurt.

I eventually traded Bryant for Cooks/Hilton.

Trades i've made 20 teamer

Preseason Jamies Winston and Lafell to get Cobb (guy had no QB to start the season and no QBs left on waivers because he waited too long to draft one.

Week 2 after ellington got hurt i traded sproles to get him.

The week before ellington came back and lost his job i traded ellington and Staffard to get Brees when brees was hurt

After that i decided to back up lacy so i targeted starks and traded riddick and roddy white to get him.

Picked up romo when someone dropped him and flipped him and sanders for AJ green to the guy with Jamies

Then finally when forte got hurt i traded starks to get him once starks was named the starter this week.

I feel like all of these trades have made my team pretty good.

I'd rather leave my QB spot blank than to get trade raped like that.

I have traded a grand total of 3 times in 8 years of fantasy football. It is my single weakest aspect of managaing fantasy, I just can't process them unless I'm getting a huge steal in my mind.

I did trade this year though. When Big Ben went down the first time my cousin, typically a fantasy genius, was panicking about his injury ravaged winless team. He then decided to offer me Antonio Brown for Dem. Thomas so he could stack him with Payton. This one was pretty easy for me

Made 3 trades this year
1) tevon Coleman for Jarvis Landry at the beginning of the year. This was when they were talking up Coleman as the starter win for me
2) I drafted Bennett and eifert. I traded Bennet for Megatron. Then stashed Antonio gates. Win for me
3)traded Megatron for deangelo Williams when le'veon went down. So far so good. I lost bell and foster to injury my my wr are Cobb Hopkins aand Jarvis. Running backs are lynch, miller and Williams. Brady at qb.

I'm usually a liberal trader, I don't typically get married to my players.

This year I probably traded a little more than I have historically.

Judging the outcome of trades is similar to judging the outcome of drafts. You need multiple weeks usually to determine.

My goal in seeking trades is to help my team and also give value to other owner. Too many potential traders are looking to rape the trade or not even see how it would impact the other team. If my team has 4 top 15 RBs, don't offer another RB for my #1 WR. Trades shouldn't be one-sided. But you also shouldn't be hesitant to give up a loaded position to get some value in return. If I had Brady, Rodgers, Dalton and starting Ameer Abdullah at RB, I wouldn't expect Freeman back in return.

TLDR: I wish people were better traders.

I traded Keenan Allen for Chris Ivory before the season. It made both of our teams better at least until Keenan got hurt.

1, after Week 5. Traded Forte and B Marshall for Antonio Brown, Lamar Miller and Charcandrick West. Standard League. I'm 9-0 and dominating. Hope I don't run into a buzzsaw come playoff time. I have a really good team and should win it this year. $500 a person entry, 10 team league. Very competitive. This is the only trade all season in the entire league.

This right here is what its about.

You have to give value to get value. People toss out trades all the time that only would help them not thinking of the other owners needs and the trade is laughed at or ignored. Doing this also makes people hesitant to trade with you in the future.

You have to think of the other owner and see what he needs to have a chance to get what you need.
