My first year was 2000 and it blows my mind how popular it has become since then.

When was your first year?

How did you get into it?

Started in 1999. It was the first year I had computers in class and it was a great way to kill time.

since 2001.

I didn't want to do it at first but a group of friends only needed 1 more person to make it a 12 team league. I ended liking it a lot and ended up being one of the most active players in the league.

league fell apart after last year though... sad.

but I picked up Daily Fantasy Football which is getting big and adds to the popularity like you are talking about.

Damn, that was a long time.

My first one isn't around either.

I remember our first draft in 2000, Saints Players were flying off the board left and right . Nobody had any idea what they were doing.

But like you, I was hooked on it from that first season on.

Since 1994.

Didn't even know what the scores were until we got the paper on Monday morning and went through all of the stats.

TNT had a Sunday night program after the games that had the first ticker running across the bottom of the screen. Before that, like you said, you had to wait for the paper Monday morning.

This, I might have started a year earlier, but I remember it was while I was at LSU and with some guys from my pt job at Sears. I remember we went to a firestation downtown and did our draft (I don't remember how that happend).

2003.

That league fell apart in 2011 but I won 4 years.

My first championship I had Vick and Favre as my QB's.

Next time I had Brady
Then Peyton
Then Big Ben

I also always drafted the steelers defense and at least 3-4 rookies.

I started in 1996. Could not wait until the paper game on Thursday to get the injury report for that weekend. That was the only way to know.

A lot of veterans in here from the 90's, badass.

It's insane how big it is now.

Even in 2000 when we started, not a lot of people played.

Your odd man out if you DONT play now.

People's wives are playing.

Waiting on the newspaper takes some didication .
