10 team PPR

My team:
Brady
AP, Hill, Freeman, Gurley, Karlos Williams, Ellington, Stewart
Jeffery, J Matthews, Hurns, Crabtree
J Reed

His team:
Brees, Dalton
Ingram, Woodhead, Sproles
OBJ, Steve Smith, Maclin, V Jax, T Williams, T Benjamin, M Bryant
Gronk, Ebron

I'd be giving up Freeman and getting Maclin and T Williams. I don't think Freeman keeps up this pace all year, but do y'all think I could get more for him?

Maclin for Freeman seems pretty fair. Maclin has been a top WR every year he's been healthy. Even with Alex Smith he's starting to put up elite numbers. Honestly I would try to counter with Gurley, but if he is set on Freeman you could use the upgrade at WR considering you are loaded everywhere else.

This is Freeman for Maclin, straight up. I would tell him to keep T Williams. Who would you drop to roster T Williams? Hurns?

You can probably get more for Freeman right now than Maclin.

You cant dump Maclin with those WRs

You are better off staying put

ETA: nvm, I misread.

Id try and get more for freeman coming off those two games. Maclin is fair but i wouldnt be surprised if you could do better

williams is worthless

Who? Calvin Johnson? Emanuel Sanders?

I would rather have Maclin than those guys. It's not like he's getting Julio or DT88 for him.

I think he can get more from Freeman as well. I traded Freeman for BMarsh prior to Freeman's 2nd 3 TD game this weekend. I don't think Maclin finishes Top 12 WR, which is what I would base a trade on.

Maybe Brandon Marshall or Hopkins?

KC just played the toughest two games of the year and was playing catch up both weeks. Smith had to throw 40 and 45 times, so Id probably place a tiny asterik by Maclin's volume the past two games as Smith usually averages 30 attempts per game.

You can settle for Maclin, but cant hurt trying to get more. Or just keep Freeman as he's looked great, as has that offense. May be worth more than any WR you could get

Yeah, I don't think Maclins last two games will be the trend. But who knows?

Yeah

If you're going to sell high (Freeman) I wouldn't also be buying high (Maclin). Kind of defeats the purpose of selling a guy high. In reality, the Maclin owner may be selling high and getting in the better piece in Freeman

At least get a Ebron out of it too. Reed is likely out for a few weeks.

He countered with Maclin and Ebron and I told him I'd think about it.

Maclin has history on his side. Freeman doesn't. The bigger gamble is Freeman, not Maclin. Not in PPR anyway.

I don't think anyone is arguing against Freeman still being an unknown. It's his trade value. Freeman most likely has his highest trade value right now for the season, Maclin is more of a settle IMO.

If I were OP and wanted to unload Freeman, I would send out offers to most teams with a player I want. Not talking Julio here. But Hopkins, Cobb, maybe Keenan? Someone could bite.

I don't know. Freeman is in a much more prolific offense. Maclin has a qb who struggles to throw the ball down the field.

I get Ports thought. Atlanta basically has the same offense they've had. They've never had a RB go off like this. Wouldn't count on that to continue.

I also get the other side. Maclin is good, but how good can he be with Smith, especially if they are playing with the lead.

Not necessarily. Kyle Shanahan is their OC now. I think they'll be rushing the ball more than in the past.

Maclin has 1 top 20 PPR WR finish in his career, and that was last season where he blew away all his previous career highs in Chip Kelly's offense

Not hating on the guy, but his history is that of a WR2 or flex guy

Freeman, well, we have seen these types of runs come out of nowhere. He's the type of guy who could be a common denominator on a lot of championship teams. Has WAS, NO, TEN, TB, SF before the bye week. Passing on Maclin is worth the risk for me
