That turf is going to destroy his knees. He'll be on the DL in less than two weeks.

I have him in my big money league, so I hope I'm wrong.

After this season, he's just a 1B, and a below average one at that.

Well, people in this league want elite top level ready to contribute in the next year for 40 year old relief pitchers.

What is fair for relievers? They're hard to trade

Reddfig offered me two relievers he picked up on waivers for Santana...apparently not accepting that is "expensive"

You asked for two relievers. All of my relievers are/were better than any you were rostering. Sorry your bullpen blows and mine is incredible.

And fwiw, I ended up trading just one of those very relievers for a catcher that, while just as shitty as santana, will actually have catcher eligibility next year.

15 trades made in Year 1. Don't think that is low at all.

I've had the opposite experience. People thumb their nose up at Zach Duke (T-12th in H/SV). Then turn around and ask for a future closer like Giles for Paco Rodriguez and Carl Crawford.

I haven't felt a huge need to make a move until Montero went down for me. I could use some power, but i know that can be expensive.

Anyone want to take a stab at Stanton? He is expected back in two weeks. It won't be cheap. I'd be looking for a nice package with young talented arms & bats.
