If you need more proof that fantasy football is luck look at this mother fricker.

This piece of shite no one. Not one person expected to do 1/4 of what he has done, is winning games for people himself.

I am so annoyed with this shite.

My friend who once again didn't draft his own team (won it all last year) lucks into this fricking guy. Fantasy football is so much more luck thank skill, because of shite like this. And all of you people cocky because you have Freeman, you had no clue and hit the lottery. I am salty as hell.

Yea. You lucked into this shite.

Not one person projected anything close to this, including yourself. Don't even act like you knew he'd do this.

I drafted him, then traded him after week 3 for Eli and OBJ. I have the ragrets.

God Bless Devonta. Picked him up a few days before his first 3 TD game.

Don't be bitter. I picked him up in week 3 after I saw how he was doing. I didn't have to drop anybody worth a shite to get him either.

happens every year. I do shitty in the draft and adjust my roster throughout the season and always make the playoffs

True, there are some things that are just impossible to predict and this situation in ATL is one of them.

As a FF player, you just have to hope your knowledge of the game and instincts can outperform these things that are out of your control.

As a Falcons fan I feel like I know our strengths and weaknesses and going into this season, I think everyone would agree our running game was a weakness and Freeman was below Coleman on the depth chart. We literally drafted Coleman bc our RBs suck.

But now here we are with a great run blocking OL and Freeman who is just killing it out there. Shows how much I (and everyone else) know.

Jamaal Charles
Arian Foster
Dion Lewis
Danny Woodhead
Latavius Murray
Justin Forsett
Chris Ivory

in past years

Alfred Morris
CJ Anderson
Joique Bell
Fred Jackson
Ahmad Bradshaw
Darren Sproles
Pierre Thomas

You could go for days.

RB is a position of opportunity, it doesnt matter where you were drafted or the fanfare your name carries. Recognizing who is next in line or handcuffing a RB pays off every year. The teams that win it all will have a lot of Freeman

I mean I was being extra salty last night (too much to drink) but I do still feel it's luck.

My brother in law drafted Freeman in like the 4th or 5th round, I have no idea why. There's no a chance he knew this would happen. And he lucks into performances like this. It's pretty damn annoying.

I'd imagine most rosters with Freeman are either first place or at least in the mix in their leagues.

Does the other person have a crystal ball? Why on on earth would he have traded away obj after week 3 for freeman?

I drafted him in the 8th round.

It's why I always draft as many RBs as possible.

Preseason Championship Caliber Team -
QB - Andrew Luck
RB - Jeremy Hill
RB - CJ Anderson
WR - Mike Evans
WR - TY Hilton
Flex - Alred Morris
TE - Jimmy Graham

In reality, that's an 0-5 team.

In Season Championship Caliber Team
QB - Carson Palmer
RB - Devonta Freeman
RB - Dion Lewis
WR - Allen Robinson
WR - Larry Fitzgerald
Flex - Doug Martin
TE - Antonio Gates

It's such a damn crapshoot.

Half those guys listed had huge question marks, if not all of them.

Luck and TY were/are safe. Hill was probably in the same cateogry. Evans was a popular sophomore bust pick as was Anderson. No one expected Graham to be this bad but shame on you if you drafted him high hoping for Saints production

I literally drafted none of those guys in any leagues except for Hill in one but handcuffed with Gio and have rode Gio since wk 2. My point was that the overwhelming consensus would have all of those guys as clear top 10-15 preseason picks at their respected positions, including all the "experts" and everyone on this board and none of them have panned out.

No one expected Saints production, but nearly everyone was thinking 10 TD's with 60+ catches and 700-800 yards. You did as well, and youre lying if you say you didnt.

I'm probably one of the few on here who traded for Freeman after his first week of production. I paid a decent price for him as well.

I gave up Brandon Marshall for him. I felt like I was set at WR and my second RB at the time was CJ Spiller. I had Coleman who had just gotten hurt and lost his job to Freeman after the monster week.

I didn't trade because I thought Freeman was going to be the monster that he is. I traded because I knew that whether Coleman or Freeman got the job, my RB2 situation would be set. One of those guys would be productive. Did I think he would be this productive? Hell no. But the people who have him right now thought he had a CHANCE to do SOMETHING, for whatever reason, or they would not still have him on their roster.

That's just the way Fantasy Football go...

again...

I'll play along in your hypothetical....those numbers you just listed would have ranked as the No. 5 tight end in 2014.

Please tell me who is spending a second or third round pick on the fifth-best TE.....

Apparently ALOT of people considering his 31.0 ADP IN 2015

Why laugh? I was simply making a comparison on how perceived value is often different from real value at beginning of season to midseason.
