Panic Mode or bad week? I only have Dez on one of my six teams, because I wasnt going to take him early. He dropped to 23 overall and I couldnt pass him up.

He obviously had a bad game yesterday (could have easily been mediocre if he held on to that TD)

My concern is the Cowboys play calling was basically "We are going to play the safe routes to prevent turnovers" Witten had like 14 targets as the safety valve...

Dez owners are you thinking this is how the offense is going to be going forward, or do you think Jason Garrett and Co. learned they have to let Dak air it at (aka more Dez oppurtunities).

I am not one to ever over react to one bad game from a stud, but this was not him having a bad game 100% if was the play calling being very conservative.

Thoughts on how he would/could perform going forward?

They'll find ways to get him the ball. But he won't be a WR1 til if/when Romo comes back.

"Squeaky wheel gets the grease"

You know dez is going to bitch. Dak will come out and force him the ball next week, for better or for worse

He's going to be that floor/ceiling guy this season where he will have 16-18 (TD Dependent) or less than 7 (with 2-3 catches) until / IF Romo comes back.

Good news is that he might be healthy for the end of the season for a potential reunion with Romo. That's the only reason I would be optimistic if I was a Dez owner.

I think you guys are being too critical too soon.

First, for whatever reason they didn't have Dez doing any crossing routes over the middle like they normally would do in the fourth qtr when they are losing.

Second, he did have a pretty decent corner on him yesterday with Cromartie.

I think after week 2, he will show up. This is depending on if Josh Norman, plays as well as last year. Unless Norman doesn`t follow Dez in week 2.

Too early to say its the same ole same ole without Romo. Dak moves to make plays and I think he will "find" Dez no later than week 3.

Dez will be a WR2 until Romo return. Dak likes and looks for those slot and seam guys. All preseason and hard yesterday

I have Antonio Brown and Jordy. 0.5 PPR League. This week I started Ab and Dez in my WR spots and Jordy in my flex. Would it be too much of a knee-jerk reaction to bench Dez, move Jordy to WR2 and start Foster or Tajae Sharpe in my flex?

I also have Josh Gordon on my bench for after his suspension, so I have some WR depth if Dez bombs all season I wont be in huge trouble.

I may take it as a flyer - how did Baldwin do this week? Who are your other receivers?

Dez did have a TD catch overturned. That would have made his day slightly better.

I wouldn't panic... yet.
