.5 ppr standard lineup except the flex is an OP Spot
Roster:
QB: Luck, Romo, Dalton
RB: Latavius, Yeldon, Abdullah, Crowell, Duke, David Johnson
WR: Dez, Cooks, Wright, Watkins, Decker
TE: Kelce

Solid squad and I think Dez is out at minimum till week 8. Should I make the trade giving up Dez for Jordan Matthews or ride it out? Just not comfortable streaming my WR2 with Wright, Watkins, and Decker

I'd actually consider this.

As a Dez owner I'm worried it could take the full 12 weeks. You could use the production of Matthews since your RB stable isn't that strong.

I'd do the deal in a heartbeat.

I wouldn't do this if I was the Matthews owner.

I would accept the trade because it appears Dez could be out for awhile, and you need the production because your RBs are borderline RB2s

Dude JM had 10 catches for 102 yds in a game where the Eagles O looked like pure crap. He might finish as a top 5 ppr WR this year.(yes I have JM on my team)

Texted owner about it. He verbally agreed. Told me to send the trade and I sent it this morning and waiting for him to accept. I didn't think i would get Jmatt type value for him but thought it was worth a shot and it worked out (unless he changes his mind).

Probably not. Just another hypothetical trade thread that the OP wasn't offered but wants to offer. The problem is that only a fool would give up Mathews for Dez. This trade won't happen.

Everybody giving up on Dez.....

Fwiw Donte Stallworth was on Ruseillo the other day saying that he has had this exact injury twice and the it's been made out to be more than it is. He said he would guess Dez would be back to 100% in 6 weeks.

Stephanya Bell said that a new study recently done including only nfl players, over 80, with this same injury came back an avg of 8 weeks and some even by 5 weeks.

Dez is a physical freak...so I think if you have enough Depth to compete and play for a playoff spot, Dez could be huge down the stretch

I stand corrected.

But this remains true:

Congrats. I hope that guy didn't pay too much to be in this league.

$200 league. Wouldn't say he is a dumbass just probably is of the mindset dez will be back after their bye week for sure. Wasn't going to give him time to think about it though

I'd say he's a dumbass. Matthews will likely be a WR1 this year. The guy will, at best, get a half a year out of dez and who knows how he's going to look when he comes back.
