I was considering it. I have DWill on bye and my only other option is Hill. If Mularkey had commented on usage at all in terms of volume I probably would start him.

Tonight is his first game of the season. Probably would have been the Titans starter had he been healthy all year. He's the Titans most talented back.

I have Andrews and Cobb in a 14 team league so I'm really on the fence with this

Yeah, I mean I wouldn't be starting him tonight unless I was desperate at RB this week.

Pretty desperate play. All the power to you if he goes off, but he is not, in my opinion, that talented of a back. Didn't break a whole lot of big plays at Minnesota, but was productive enough to move the chains.

In our league it's always desperation with injuries and such

Yeah, I would say 5.2 YPC is productive enough.

When was the last 100 yard rusher for the Titans ? They have a deplorable ground game

Marcus Mariota has faster 40 than Andrews or Cobb

For sure.

David Cobb is being touted because Antonio Andrews and Bishop Sankey are that underwhelming, not because Cobb is that good.

There are very few scenarios that I find Cobb, a rookie that is not overly talented, an acceptable play coming off the injured reserve/designated to return list.

Cobb is, by definition, a desperation play.

Who knows, though... maybe I'll eat crow after tonight.

My guess is he'll be pretty underwhelming tonight as well. Jax has been good against running backs and basically make RBs TD dependent against them.

I don't think they have given up a 100 yard rusher, and are the top defense in yards per carry.

He'll get a few touches but I don't think we see a full dose of Cobb tonight.

TEN plays OAK and JAX(again) in weeks 12/13...those will be the weeks to roll with Cobb IMO. I'd like to at least see a spark first.

I grabbed him just to stash. League with 20 man rosters.

no offense, you are likely already fricked this season if it comes down to playing David Cobb

My RB2 options for ROS:

Matt Jones
Karlos
Cobb

If Cobb shows me something tonight then who knows...I might give him a shot one week.
