Against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense sounds like a terrible play this week.

Even worse, if you kept them on you bench over the bye week you got nothing in return and possibly little this week as well. Just seems like a waste, but hey maybe Andrew Luck will be generous in Week 9.

I got the Rams defense off waivers coming off their bye and dropped Denver. Now I'm playing them again this week. Dont think I'm looking back

There's always a better alternative if you look hard enough. Playing a defense because you have no "other options" with defenses available is how you lose in fantasy

Oh the best fantasy defense in the league?

Nah I doubt anyone is starting them

@ you dropping a defense that's scoring 16 points a game. Regardless of how this game plays out that was dumb

you dropped a defense that was averaging 18 points a game?

I understand if you want to change them out with another D for situational weeks like this week, but to drop a historically high scoring Defense seems a bit silly

What's with your fricking crusade against the Denver D? This is a home game for them, Packers are not the same offensively on the road as they are at home.
- This year they are averaging 5 pts/game less on the road than at home, though theyve played the 49ers and Bears on the road (2 garbage defenses) and Seahawks, Rams, Vikings, and Chargers at home (all good pass defenses). 29 pts/game at home, 24 on road
- Last year the Packers (with better offensive weapons, mind you) scored nearly 40 pts/game at home, and only 21 pts/game on the road
- Denver defense is allowing 17 pts/game this season. They aren't dependent on shutting teams out
- 2 of Denver's 3 highest FP scores this season have come when allowing 24 and 23 pts.
- Denver D has outscored all other defenses by 34 pts total and they've already had their bye week
- Rams D should not be available in most leagues, and if they're on your waiver wire, you play in a shite league
- Over the previous 2 seasons, Rodgers threw 0 interceptions at home, and almost 1 per game on the road. - Combine that with committing most of his fumbles on the road as well, again about 1 per game. He's turnover-proof at home, but not on the road
- Sacked 28 times last year, on pace for the same number this year. 1.75 per game. Assume majority of those are on the road, so averaging 2 or more sacks allowed on the road per game

Make all the arguments you want dude. I'm just here to make sure your terrible advice doesn't influence other people
Rodgers is an animal at home, statistically one of the best QBs at home ever. He's not that good on the road though, and that makes all the difference in this matchup

Duh. They score like an elite player (non-QB).

I picked up Rams D last week because Denver was on a bye. Kept Denver on my bench, and plan on doing the same for this week too.

No but I am starting the Green Bay D on the road against an undefeated team because they have a terrible quarterback and running backs.

I have Denver's D and Miami's D due to the bye wk. I'm 5-2 in 2nd place and would possibly be 2-5 without the Broncos D-fense. No way am I leaving them on the bench. May keep Miami just incase they keep this up and trade if someone is desperate.

I mean they've played some bad teams so far, every team is under .500 (exception of the Vikings) but going forward it's going to be a rough road. If you have the roster spot on your bench to hold them, obviously some of us play in big roster leagues, I guess you could play them in 2, mayyyybe 3 more games going forward.

They won't be winning your championships in the playoffs with that playoff stretch of the Steelers, Bengals and Chargers.

It takes a bold opinion sometimes to make sense later in the season. Kinda like I said about CJ Anderson, Allen Hurns and others that I've been spot on with
