1st overall pick in 10 team PPR.

I've narrowed it down to these two for the moment. Who ya got?

Bell,

but between those two, I am starting to lean Peterson. I think he may have one more beast season left in him.

This is just me, but I never really want Jamaal. I have no idea why. For me, hard decision between AP and LeVeon.

I just don't like Bell due to the suspension. Spending my 1st round pick, at No. 1, on someone who's guaranteed to miss 3 games, including the bye week, is just too much for me. If the suspension was 1 game, I'd probably take him, but that's the line for me.

I've had Jamaal Charles the last two years. Slightly disappointed in his season last year, which is why I'm even entertaining someone else. And I agree with the earlier post that I think AP is going to have a monster year.

I'm pretty sure LeVeon is only out two games.

I'll clarify even though I think some of you know exactly what I mean...

Bell will miss three weeks of the fantasy regular season at least with the 2 game suspension and the bye. Only playing 10 of 13 fantasy weeks, at best, is a hang up I can't get past.

He'll be there in the playoffs and that's all that matters

I keep seeing this come up and it's a ridiculous argument against Bell.

EVERY player has a bye. Every single one of them. Adding that extra game against Bell is nonsense.

In fact his bye week (11) is perfect timing. It's the last bye week in the NFL and gives him a 2 week rest before weeks 12-16.

Also, you play in a 10-team PPR in which 6 teams make the playoffs. You don't need to sweat his suspension if you have a good team around him. Worst case you go 0-2 and then have the best PPR back by a wide margin as your #1. It's not like you have to go 11-2 to make the playoffs in your league. 7-6 will get you in for sure. Personally I'd rather swing for the fences in the playoffs than worry about making the playoffs.

That said, in PPR between AP and Charles in your league, I would choose Jamaal. His ceiling is higher IMO. Even in APs historic 2000 yard season, he averaged 23ppg PPR. Jamaal averaged 25ppg PPR just 2 seasons ago.

You win your fantasy football league in the 2nd half of the year, not the first..

Draft Bell and see if you can go 1-1 after the first 2 weeks.

I still think Bell is the guy to take first overall despite the suspension for two games. He is a monster. It what he does receiving that sets him apart. Even if you might be risking an 0-2 start, it'll be worth it in the long run. Who knows, maybe your team around him is solid and you start off strong without your best player even playing a game yet.
