The ninth season of Votto is a Catcher is underway. Please see the first two posts of this thread for all relevant information.
League Settings
Non-keeper roto auction
13 teams on ESPN
Daily FAAB runs at 10:00 am CST
5x5 categories are R, HR, RBI, SB, OPS and W, K, ERA, WHIP, S
500 season-long IP limit
18 starters (C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, 3x0F, 2xU, 4xP, 2xSP, 2xRP), 5 bench spots, and 3 IL slots
Entry Fee and Payout Structure
This year's reduced entry fee will be $50. The payout will be something along the lines of 1st = $400, 2nd = $200, and 3rd = $50 for 13 members.

Possible Rule Changes
- Should we stay with saves + holds or switch back to saves?
We are switching back to saves.
- The IP limit remained at 1,400 in 2019. Should we drop it to 1,300?
We are going to have a 500 IP limit, which would actually be a 1,350 IP limit.
- Should we add any extra IL spots due to Covid-19?
No additional IL spots will be added for this season.

Metry Hit Men are back!
Not a fan of Saves + Holds. I thought it devalued pitching too much
I think 1400 IP is just right.

By the way, I just spent some time with ESPN customer support on a live chat on the following questions I had from last sesaon.
Is there the ability to end our season one week earlier?
Not at this time. I explained the reasoning why I think the last week is kind of dumb (it is somewhat like Week 17 for fantasy football, but obviously not as extreme).
Are there any plans to put push notifications back on when players are not in the lineup?
Not at this time. What sucks is that they have this football, and I am almost positive that they did this in 2018 on the app, but I guess they do not have it for now.
Obviously, wholesale change won't come out of this chat, but it was at least nice to get the answer. Maybe it will change one day!

Same here
On the rules, I liked SV+HD because it gave the 7th and 8th inning guys some value. I never understood why in fantasy baseball the 9th inning guys are the only relievers with any value.

I think I might need to make the Google Form to find the dates. I will send it out tonight on my personal computer, and I might as well include the rule changes.

I’m definitely back in! I’m the one who suggested doing saves + holds last year and honestly it was a bad idea. I think I’d rather go back to just saved. As far as Sunday March 22nd, I’m fine with that day

As for the draft date, I am going to list every day out and then you will be select every single day that works for you.
The Google Form I send out *should* capture everything. If necessary, then I can send a follow-up. I will notify the league when it is sent out, and if you do not receive it for some reason, then you can just send me your email, and then you will get it.

Will do. If anyone does not return, then you are in. The 14 team cap is not technically a hard limit, but it's nice having a league that is not so deep.
